Wanna learn how to make your
scarf into a vest?

It is so simple,
watch:

Start by holding your scarf out long ways...
Fold it in half (like you would a towel)...

Now tie two ends you are holding together...

Open it up to find your arm holes and voila!
 So easy right?

Now have fun styling your new vest until your precious little heart is content.

Currently….

laughing that we went to Fit Skate last Tuesday night.

dreaming of bringing siestas to Midland.

obsessing over all the fringe and floral I ordered at market a couple weeks ago.

eating outside more nights than not.

planning our booth at Petticoats on the Prairie.  who's coming?

expecting to find amazing "treasures" while junkie this weekend with the bestie.

brainstorming for a backyard fireplace.

attempting oil pulling.

making my birthday list for next year.

trying to check a few more things off my 28 before 29 list before i run out of time.

feeling the sweet words that were spoken at Create last weekend sink into my soul.

listening to Ellie Holcomb.

reading Mark of the Lions by Francine Rivers.  actually, more like devouring.

seeking holiness over happiness

attending Fit for the Cross on a regular basis and feeling good about those early mornings.

enjoying warmer days, even with the wind.

Spain

Jared and I got to go to Spain on a hunting//wine tasting trip with our old neighbors from Hobbs a couple weeks ago. Can I just say I would go back and stay…for ever months? The architecture was amazing, with the breathtaking backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea, I mean who would blame me. Not to mention two to three hour, six course lunches with a yummy bottle of wine followed by siestas.  Come on, that has my name written all over it.

Just like every time I travel somewhere Spain wasn't what I expected yet was somehow even better. Barcelona could be the most beautiful city I have ever been but the mountains we stayed in were a whole nother level of stunning. Every town we went to had its own castle and incredible cathedrals.  But I couldn't get past the ancient buildings, walls surrounding the towns, and Roman arenas where the gladiators fought. Oh, and Jared was ecstatic about his ibex.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures:
